Venus Williams used her success as a platform to shine a light on gender pay discrimination in professional tennis. This Inspiring Women doll pays tribute to her work on and off the court.
BEHIND THE DESIGN
Her outfit is inspired by the tennis attire she wore when winning the finals match at Wimbledon in 2007. Fittingly, that was the first year of equal pay for men and women at the tournament.
